For our Wedding Day we wanted to celebrate in the city we have both come to call home. Canberra has many wonderful venues, but nothing is as iconic as Lake Burley Griffin, the centre of our city.
Henry Rolland Park at West Basin is the city’s newest foreshore attraction and is connected to the lake by a 150m long boardwalk, has lawn areas, picnic and barbeque facilities, exercise equipment and more than 23,000 plants.
We will hold our vows on the timber jetty looking out to Central Basin and beyond. The location and the views will be sensational. Only matched by the wonderful company who will join us on our Wedding Day.
In keeping with our relaxed nature, the ceremony will also be pretty casual and there won’t be formal seating provided. We will be very excited to have our Wedding Guests join us around the Jetty podium and the adjoining lawns.
